week 3 EOC-Making Money for Good

The majority of companies now a day’s try to support some kind of charity in one way or another and even thought there are some that just try to do it for more profit for them self’s, there are the one the ones that that know they have a set company but they actually want to give back to the community in some way, the cause that I feel that gets the most charity and a lot of promotion is for the breast cancer awareness, there are several companies that try to help them at some time, for example some of  the companies are New Balance, Yoplait and many other companies as well as associations like the “I Love Boobies” campaign they all give some kind of profit to the foundation. The purpose of Keep A Breast’s “I Love Boobies!” Campaign is to speak to young people in their own voice about a subject that is often scary and taboo. Our t-shirts and bracelets act as an awareness-raising tool that speaks directly to our target audience in a way that is authentic, inspiring and refreshing. When breast cancer hits a family, all involved are impacted. Pink ribbons might not resonate with some youth as passionately as a foundation that works with artists, athletes, celebrities, and musicians that young people look up to. http://www.keep-a-breast.org/programs/i-love-boobies/. They all agree that its best to give to the community to help and that way they also put them self in a position where people start recognizing them and associate then to a good charity.

week 3 EOC My demographics

The millennial or generation y is the 83 million children born between 1977 and 2000. I am a millennial because I was born on 1981, but I am not sure that I agree entirely with what they say that we are utter fluent with technology just because is the era we are born in because for me is very difficult to try to deal with all this technology and I know there is a lot of people like me, I only stared using all this technology not so long ago and that is because I stared school. I do agree that with all the technology that their putting on telephones is making it easier for almost everyone to deal with some technology but is still hard for lots of people, this quote is not exactly right because I don’t believe that is exactly true “All generations are comfortable with technology, but this is the generation that’s been formed by technology,” says a Yahoo! executive. For them, “it’s not something separate. It’s just something they do.”18 . The more technology they put on gadgets that can fit on people’s hands the easier and more convenient it is for anyone to use it to their advantage that is why there are 71% of consumers that use instant messaging, and I am sure that soon it will be about 95% of users, and that is why I believe that families are smaller for that same reason because they are getting used to being on there own and not talk at all, because it’s easier to just send a text message.

My Voice

I am photographer and even though I am still in school I have being doing this for more than ten year I knew I liked taking photos of everything but I did not know it was going to be something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, the first opportunity I got was when I was in high school, I got the opportunity to intern for a semester  in The Las Vegas Review Journal, I was supper excited about going, but when I first got there I felt an emotion that I could not explain to myself what it was, I learned so much from this and right before my semester ended we went on a photo shoot to a school and I took some of the pictures that day, and I got one of those pictures published with the story I felt so emotional and proud of myself. After that I went thru a ruff face that I did not know what to do in my life it took my almost ten years to realized that there was nothing else that gave me that satisfaction excitement than to have a camera in my hand and seeing what others don’t , that’s why the first thing I did was to call and make an appointment to return to school and educate myself, to make this passion in to a career, and learn how I can do my own business. This is not only my life but its also and most important my passion.

week 2 EOC-Boston Consulting Group

I believe that these days everyone is so busy running around from place to place that no one has the time to spend two to three hours playing games, so they prefer to have a hand held product were they can play with at any time and any where they pleased. And having a phone is cheaper than a consul, or even if it’s something like the I pad that is about the same price they rather have it for the apps they can, most of the apps are free or cost mostly five dollars compared to forty to fifty dollars on any consul gave.  The biggest and most impressive sells have to be the Ipad because its portable and we can play games and do everything else with it. In its first quarter 2011 earnings report today, Apple said it sold an astonishing 7.33 million IPads and 16.24 million IPhones in the quarter. To put those numbers in perspective, it took Apple around five months to sell its first 7 million Ipads. In its previous earnings report in October 2010.”Devindra Hardawar". This is how its proving that not allot of people are buying game consuls compared to Smartphone’s and the Ipad. An other difference is between the IPod and the Psp, which is better, but for this two is harder because theyare both hand held and and u can hear music on the two but what still makes the IPod better is the gave you still pay about thirty dollars for a Psp game, but it depends on the consumer

week 1 EOC-Great Customer Service

The best customer service I have had to have being the time we went shopping to Ultimate Electronics, we were looking for a brand new HD television, but we didn’t what make or anything, or witch would be the best for us. As soon as we entered the door we had an associate asking us if we need it help we told him we were just looking and he said if we needed it anything he would be around and to just ask him, we stared to look around and we were getting lost with so many  makes and brands so we looked for the associate and he was not far from us we stared asking him questions about all the brands and he would answer us everything and he really knew what he was talking about, he helped us out in everything and we really appreciated, we were so happy with the service and the prices that we ended taking two televisions and a surround system. If we wouldn’t of gotten the service we got we would have gone to another store.
